Marlena Kleit

Marlena currently teaches courses in writing/critical thinking and literature at The Moore College of Art & Design.  She also maintains a connection to the work that she did for many years at the Jewish Community Relations Council here in Philadelphia, where she presently serves as a judge for the Mordechai Anielewicz Creative Arts Competition on the Holocaust.  While at JCRC Marlena served as Associate Director of the Commission on Israel and International Concerns and as Director of the Center for Holocaust Awareness, which included The Mordechai Anielewicz Creative Arts Competition on the Holocaust and Exhibition; The Annual Youth Symposium on the Holocaust; and The Annual Memorial Service for the Six Million Jewish Martyrs.  These positions were in addition to responsibilities for social action, immigration and Jewish-Muslim programming.
